H@PPY FAGGOT 

is a “coming out story"

 that begins in 1980’s

during the height of the AIDS Pandemic 

told through the experiences of a 

young gay man and member of the 

“Feral Generation” (Gen-X). 

The story travels back and forth in time 

from the 1980's through to the present 

illustrating how much the queer experience has changed over the decades while illuminating how universal the queer experience continues to be: 

coming into one’s own, 

finding community, finding love, 

the evolution of queer words/language, 

and the ongoing fight for our rights 

H@PPY F@GGOT 

is a call for 

and celebration of 

intergenerational queer conversation 

and storytelling.
